2. Just spend an hour everyday for a week observing it.
3. There will definitely be a crack-dealer or something like that GUARANTEED
4. Go up to said person, buy some crack or whatever hes selling than ask him about some bud.
5. He'll probably hook you up or he'll know someone.

just be careful, I've gone and asked a couple people if they smoke and they got really offended... that dont judge a book by it's color shit works. Yeah, I'm concerned about this, too. It's hard to tell in a square ass Republican dive like this. There are other towns nearby where it would be easier to score, but the people there seem much more streetwise than me and I'd probably get robbed, raped and murdered. Sucks!

Honestly, just ask random people, it isn't as awkward as you think. Find a dude with bob marley shirt and a hemp necklace and you'll be all set. Worst thing they can do is say no. If you don't want to make it obvious, just walk by and say something like blow trees, and if they look at you, you will be able to tell if they know what you're talking about.

if your still in your 20s walkin up to some HS kids shouldnt be too much of a prob, i just went out of town and walked around and just asked, 'hey man, you know where i can find some bud'' eventually youll find a fellow stoner lookin to help a brother out. Its hard at first but once you get the first two or three out of the way its easier

Also, ive done this 2x and it worked both times, go to a construction site ppl there are older and smoke, just be honest and straightforward you're new and dont have any connections

Finally, you could avoid all the above by starting your own lil grow and have no worries bout dealers etc.
