I don't believe you have a friend that spends $3000 on weed unless he is buying and distributing, which has nothing to do with an addiction.
I highly doubt your friend consumes 6-9 ounces of weed per month. I assume you most likely made that up to try and support your side of the discussion, but in reality you are talking to avid pot smokers and we are not so gullible to believe your friend would smoke that much weed in one month.

Smoke isn't great for your lungs. That's why, for those who are concerned about smoking, you should vaporizer or eat it.

Well if he can smoke a pound a month and hold a job that pays $5000 a month, I say props to him.. that shows that a daily dank smoker can function normally and have a job and a family. The only problem is its illegal so hes forced to pay insane prices for his hobby that he works so hard for.

Hah, wow. I really think this guy is either trying to get laughs, or really needs to get his information straight.

First and foremost, why the hell are you on a site that sells marijuana smoking devices and such, and worse, on the forum of it where stoners talk about it?

If it's to be an asshole and go against everything they believe in, you might as well go on a Catholic forum and rant about atheism.

Secondly, all of these facts are on the internet. You have no idea if they are true or not. All you have is real life evidence, as in all of these stoners on this forum who live regular lives and use marijuana as an intoxicant to relax and mellow out.

Sure, there are the few who do anything to get a hit of weed and rely on it solely to deal with their problems. But isn't that the same for those who rely on caffine to get them up in the morning, TV to entertain their dull lives, Crack or Heroin to get their fix, or Alcohol to drink away the stress?

Compare that to the millions who only use marijuana recreationaly and you'll see your so called "facts" really sum up to no value at all compared to real life evidence.

And AboveTheInfluence is just another scare-tactic simply sugar-coated with "facts" to make teens not experiment with pot. Seriously, it is their choice. I don't disagree or reccomend it, it's all your personal choice.

But the same, just like AboveTheIgnorance isn't a reliable source, as I can easily say it's made by stoners trying to change other people's mind.

No matter how hard we fight, argue, or compete, no side will ever win. Stoners will always put personal choices into their opinions, as will people against pot. Even so called "experts" and "doctors" and "scientists" all have a side, depending on whether they smoke pot or if they are truly against it.

Anti-stoners can rant all they want, but that will not change the fact that the stoners will always stand strong and toke the herb plant until the day we die. Stoners can rant on how it should be legal and how it's amazing until they are blue in the face, but again, neither side will win.

All we can do is sit back and toke our weed. They can rant, we can rant. Either way, they will always tell us it's wrong and we're bad people, but we know the truth. If we enjoy smoking, why can't we? We can tell them they are misinformed, but it won't change the fact they won't take a hit in their entire life.

Just realize who you are, and neither side, no matter how understanding or willing they are to listen, will ever truly change their ways and follow the other side, just because of the diversity line that has been drawn.

And if he smokes that much, theres no way in hell hes got a job. That kind of smoking will make you retarded, and in no way able to function in society.

Yes, and I completely agree with you.. You seem to be upset that your friend is hurting himself because hes spending a lot of money.. If that weren't the case, say he was getting this weed for free.. legally,if he grew it or just hypothetically, and he continued smoking and lived a happy life making money at a good job..

I'm just concerned that your 'friend' is giving you the wrong look.. I will admit that smoking 15 joints every couple hours is definitely bad for your lungs! yes you are inhaling burnt plant matter. yes you are inhaling paper.
