Way to stereotype. Before I go any further, Ive been a smoker for almost 20 years now.

First of all, if your naturaly lazy, pots not the best choice of recreation. But if you have managed to live a normal active life, then smoking pot will not hinder your abilities anytime soon. Its like any other recreation, use it in moderation, and you can hide it from anyone you wish. I have plenty of friends who live normal lives, including myself, who have wives, kids and good jobs, and never have any issues.

Be smart and know your habbits. Only you can decide if your likely to end up like a cheech and chong movie.

Now I have nothing against weed, and I know cigarettes are worse than weed, but you tell me this, who's healthier, a guy who smokes weed, or a guy who never smoked anything in his life? AND, if you had kids, would you rather a person that just lit a cigarette to be your kid's bus driver? or a person who has just lit a joint

That just depends on what you are talking about, some people use marijuana medicinally.

If you are talking two perfectly healthy normal guys, it's hard to say. The non-smoker may have better lung capacity, therefor allowing him to run faster/further. The guy who smokes might get chest colds a little more often. But, on the other hand, marijuana has proven to prevent or slow symptoms of certain health problems.

AND, if you had kids, would you rather that the bus driver lit a cigarette before he drove your kids home, or a person who has just lit a joint?

Well, personally I'd rather not have them doing either things while driving a school bus. But if you are going to compare weed to something, you should probably compare it to another intoxicating substance, such as alcohol. And the answer between drinking or smoking prior to driving....well, I'd rather someone smoke and drive because it's not as impairing as drinking.

Maybe they dont lie because there really is no information in them. The concept of every single one of their comercials is as generic as a grade schoolers idea of drugs. Whos healthier, the guy who smokes weed, or the guy who legally buys 70 bucks a day worth of McDonalds and has 3 spare tires and cant walk 10 feet without resting? But he doesn't smoke anything, he must be healthier....

But your comparison was still very flawed because cigarettes do not impair you in any sense similar to alcohol or marijuana.

Anyway, both alcohol AND cigarettes are way worse for you than weed. It doesn't matter if cigarettes are not impairing in any way.

Also, I don't even like saying that weed "impairs" a person, because there are plenty of people who function very well after smoking weed. Just depends on the person, really.
