Was merely saying that there's a lot of good quality local glassblowers out there, and they're a lot easier, and cheaper to get a hold of.

The equipment needed (lathe, Kiln, Ect) to blow tubes is quite expensive, Also the blower is going to need some knowledge of scientific glass blowing, Finding a local artist that has all that is not going to be easy, And even if you do find someone it takes years of practice to get to the level of the RooR blowers that have been doing it for 10+ years. I agree with you there are allot of talented local artist, But not many that do tubes, Most of them do heady bubbler and spoons.

and when c49 said "janky Chinese glass" he meant that most of the no name tubes you find are made from Chinese blanks, And out of cheap Chinese glass.

If I already had a PHX I wouldn't sell that PLUS another bong just for a Roor. 1/2 the price you pay on those is for the name... There is no doubt they are very good quality, but there is also no doubt they are overpriced.
