Sour Larkey (Lerkey)...Anybody ever heard of this?

Hello to all the seasoned tokers! I'm fairly new to this site but I would consider myself a "seasoned toker"...12 years and still smokin' strong. So my buddy started telling me about this special strain he's got, claims it blows away any OG Kush I have ever seen (and I've seen some real high-end boutique sh*t). Can anybody in here tell me anything about this strain? Indica/Sativa dominant? Taste? Smell? Texture? Burnout? (I recall him mentioning something about it being East Coast exclusive). I appreciate any help you guys....and I will be posting some pics of my MMG (Mean Martian Green) harvey soon! Thanks in advance!

Sour Larkey....haven't heard of it...

I've heard of Sour Diesel, and it's some decent stuff...maybe different regions have different names for the same stuff...or that's a similar species. Try a little, maybe it's really good, and like a lot of homegrown nug I've found...the name don't matter, just the quality of the bud.

I've never heard of it...but I doubt it "blows away" OG Kush...it might be a little better.. But I'm sure it's not like twice as potent..that's what I would considering blowing away a different strain.

I will mos def be trying some when it's ready...definitely not Sour D though (one of my fav. Sativas) it is closer in resemblence to the Bubba family (aesthetically). I will try and get some pics and keep you guys posted.

Yeh when strains move to different places they sometimes give it a new name. There is only so many strains but a million different names. I doubt anything can "blow away" OG kush but you know it's all personal preference. Some may like OG kush more and some may like Sour Larkey more- it just all depends. Ive never heard of it before though maybe its sour diesel crossed with another strain.

Thanks for the response killachronic...I'm a pretty strong believer of that myself..."nothing can 'blow away' OG Kush", but as you mentioned, some ppl don't even dig the OG. I'm starting to think maybe it is part of the Sour Diesel family, cause there are some Sour D nugs out there that can pass for OG!
