Cool way to describe harshness of smoke...

Friends of mine and myself use two terms to describe the "harsh" feeling sometimes felt by strong strains of cannabis. You all know what I mean!

Its either a...

Burn 1: That burning in your throat the SECOND you take that big rip/hit off your favorite piece. Some strains are cured improperly, or just happen to pack a heavier punch simply causing a burn more in your throat.

Or...

Burn 2: This sensation occurs in your chest, when you take what you originally thought was a small hit, it turns out to be a whopper however, once it hits even your own veteran lungs. Many strains feel like they expand in your lungs once you inhale fully.

Just what we say to describe different buds..

but damn! I can never get enough of those burning sensations. as much as it burns it never bothers me because after I exhale...I just know that I am going to get HIGH!

i feel like it tightens up my airtubes sometimes, and then i cough my ass off and im good. but thats the hit that tells you youre gone

a lot of times i'll just be smoking some heads and take a nice rip and i feel like my lungs are closing in, and i don't cough or anything but its so hard to talk and to take in air afterwards because its not the burning sensation its just how powerful it is I guess

yea last night me and my friend smoked up his 14 year old brother and his friends for the first time and we were smokin my bong. i took this one massive rip and it destroyed me and left a huge burning in my chest + cottonmouth. the kid and his friends kept askin me how to get huge hits cuz they were all horrible and barely had the chambers misty. but i was too ripped to help them.

Lately i've been smoking out of a gravity bong and a half of a bowl pack has been getting me to the point where i can't stand or talk. I usually fill the tub full of cold water and some ice and get really smooth and huge hits

The weed i buy in maryland sucks and i always usally get burn 1. Have never got burn 2 though.

Anyone ever notice, ripping the bong in the morning is a lot rougher or at least on my lungs, than if i've been awake for a little and then start.
