Did you really expect him to give u a straight answer? Politician's jobs are to please everyone and the only way to do that is to never take a side when there is more than one side.

That being said, Ill bet you ten to one that the letter never made it to him. His secretary probably read your letter, sorted it into a category, and then took a standarized letter, modified it slightly and then stamped the congressman's signiture on it and mailed it. Isn't it great to know your opinon matters?

Your opinon will only matter if you contribute lots of money to his campaign or if you represent lots of people (special interest groups).

Shit's whack. I agree that SOB didn't even read your letter his secretary responded for him. You opinion does not matter and it never will. Government and politics are screwed up and corrupt. Its so funny that Kentucky is one of the top producers of MJ in the country too. All them backwoods make for great guerilla gardening. There are tons of people in Kentucky that stack mad paper from growing green and laugh at the government for thinking they have it under control. BTW, Nothing pisses me off more than fucking politicians- who would want to have that job? They are hypocritical losers with way too much power. Last time I checked our government put the power in the hands of its people not corrupt politicians that say one thing and do another. Your never going to get a straigh-forward answer from them, they are just going to run circles around your question and do nothing. The states where MJ is decriminalized actually have politicians that somewhat care about what the people want, but then you still got the feds fighting their never ending drug war that is doing NOTHING but wasting money and putting innocent drug users behind bars. I can't wait for the day when someone like Ron Paul gets elected and put's and end to all this nonsense, but it's never going to happen so why get your hopes up.

living in the land of the free where democracy reins is a bunch of bullshit. yes, we vote. however as we saw in the election of Bush vs. Gore, our votes do not mean a thing.

its basically like living in a communist nation, except they let you think you are free. i mean granted we have a lot of stuff and can do a lot, but that just adds to why it works so well to fool people. i mean when it comes down to it we really cannot do anything.

i guess thats life though.
