Anyone else fail at keeping it cool?

I've only smoked a dozen or so times, but I can't play off being sober worth a damn. Sucks ass, and I honestly dunno what gives it away. I don't get red eyes ( but I use eye drops just in case) and I'm not obnoxious or anything. My roomate will just be ... "o.O how much you pay for that and how much you get" or some comment like that.

I don't care that she knows, but most people know. How do you get away with it? Just comes with experience like I was told?

Couldnt hold myself around the parents when I first started, I used to make up excuses, saying I was sick and could talk to them or eat dinner with them cuz i was high.


Now i rip the bong and go talk to them, i'm still weary of my eyes though cuz they get red. And a lot of times i stumble up my words when i say a long sentence and i sound dumb but besides that its straight

The more you smoke and the more practice you get at keeping it cool, the better youll get

word. thats it, i can do anything high now but its taken me like 3 years to get to this point and i know i can still get better, so just keep working at it

ive smoked on and off (when i did smoke it was like one or 2 times a week) for the past 4 years and could never act normal. I started smoking 1-2 times a day a little under 3 weeks ago and can act straight much easier than before. I try to avoid my mom less than a hour after i smoked but i can still talk to her without any suspision... only problem is i will talk to her for like a min or so then when im walking away i realize i have no idea what we talked about lol

there comes a point when you can act completely normal and still be stoned. im always high around people who have no idea that i am.

Whilst stoned in public, those that dont smoke dont know. and those that do don't care.

Good luck slippin it by your parents, they aalllwwaayyss know, its just a matter of how cool they are.

I am good at controlling myself when high only when necessary(around parents, school, etc.)
But when in public at lets say in-n-out ill try to order and just start laughing becuase i am ordering about 3 peoples worth of food with red eyes and i can just imagine what the cashier must be thinking.

Your eyes are fucking insane in the pic in your sig. I use Clear Eyes usually when I smoke to help that out though..

Anyway, as everyone else said, the more you smoke, the more comfortable you get while high, etc.

I can think of a couple friends that smoke a lot but don't act straight in public just because they don't care if anyone knows. That's pretty stupid, considering they're holding at the time.
Just don't put yourself in a bad situation when you're baked man. It's a lot more fun when you can enjoy your high and not worry about dealing with family members, or bacon..

editx2: My dad said he had drank a few beers and asked me to drive him to the store. I had just come home from my friends and we were pretty damn blazed. Anyways, drove fine and held conversation with him(I've driven thousands of miles while baked though).

youll learn, ive smoked a small bowl and held really good philosophical conversation with my step father who doesnt approve of my smoking and doesnt want me smoking in the house, and he had no idea. Ive gotten use to acting normal in public because i live on a college campus and when i go out on night smokes i have to come back (normally with at least a bowl in my pocket) and talk to security to get in my building. There have been times where there were cops instead of our usual security and going through that ive gotten use to being around people. Hell i had a confrence with my english teacher stoned, and im pretty sure he was clueless though when i walked out i really couldnt remember what we had talked about.

Essentially though, what everyone else said it just takes time. If you have to be out around parents or people dont get as high. I think that plays a big part in it, because when i get really fucking stoned i still feel i cant act normal enough to be out in public, grant you that isnt to often i get that high anymore.

I consider myself pretty experienced with weed. I give my friends advice on good strains/prices, clutch ways to make a homemade piece, and stuff like that. BUT, I act like a noob when high - eyes as red as Ba1lz up above, and they get tiny and low too. I also can't say anything intelligent for the life of me. So I keep my smoking pretty private, needless to say.

Nowadays, my high/sober personality is about the same.

I'm usually a bit more spacey when I'm high, but I just tell everyone I'm "tired".

Most other stoners can usually tell that im high pretty easily but people that dont know that i smoke usually never suspect anything. But then again, i've always been such a chilled out person that people used to think i was blazed even before i started smoking.
