Newbie question...

Question on how to handle herb.

Is it fine to just wash your hands, dry them out with a towel, but you know how they're still a little moist... Then handle herb?

Maybe it got a little moist onto the herb, does that cause mold?

Or if you use hand sanitizer, then handle herb right away?

Do I have anything to worry about that?

Also, anyone left herb to moisturize overnight before?

I had about 24 grams inside of a glass jar, I put a layer of saran wrap on top of the herb, then I put a moist piece of lettuce on top of the saran wrap (so it wouldn't touch the herb) then closed the jar... I left it in there by accident overnight (a good 10 hours)... Anything to worry about?

If you dried your hands and they're still a bit damp it's no big deal. Don't worry about the mold in that situation.

just smoke your weed man, nothing too bad is gonna happen if you just leave it on its own, the worst that'll happen is that it'll get a little dry, no big deal. take that lettuce out though, unless you want mold on your buds. too much moisture isn't good. it sounds like you're worrying about this way too much.

Just make sure that your buds don't have any mold on them. No need to sanatize before touching it, when you smoke you put fire to the herb. The heat would kill any germs, you're not going to be smoking something that's going to get you sick or anything. Just think about some of the weed that's out there, how many hands it had to go through before it was bought and smoked. Unfortunately because of prohibition that's how it is sometimes. You'll be fine. Just smoke up.
