Live and Learn. Hookah Tip
Through my experiances, I have learned, the hard way:
A proportional hose is important. Too long of a hose on a small hookah or too short of a hose on a large hookah defunkts ze draw.

Did anyone watch Mr. Wizard back in the day? There was this one where he was explaining fluid head pressure and vacuums and he made one kid try to suck water up from a hose 10' high. Needless to say he couldn't.
Anyways, yeah. You should also copletely replace your hoses once or twice a year.
