If You Can't Roll, Can You be Considered A Seasoned Toker?

rolling is a artform...like a stoner's right of passage. Once you know how to roll a perfect J (or blunt), you're officially a seasoned toker, imo. If you don't know how, well....

i like glass as much as the next guy, but I'm tired of these so called pot heads asking me to roll their weed for them. This one douche I know claims he smokes the most weed, and he tried all these different exotic strains, and always brags about how much of a uber toker he is, but one time when he forgot his glass and he turns to me and says 'shit, what are we gonna do now?

uhh how about roll a fat spliff...what a concept, eh?

Well like you said it's a fine art. Personally, I used to be able to roll jays in a snap, but now my fingers have all but failed me. I think getting hung up about it doesn't really help, and blunt rolling seems to be my thing. Why sensationalize what is a gifted craft?

Sure it's important, but I hardly believe it grants one the right to be a stoner.

I think you HAVE to be able to roll to even be called a "stoner". Say for instance I couldnt roll. I go to smoke, but.....I dont have glass. A stoner wouldnt be like damn what are we gonna do now, I cant roll. A stoner would just roll something up. Do you guys understand what im saying

I can roll if I have to, I just prefer not to. I've usually got a bubbler or bong within reach, but if not I can roll an effective (but not necessarily pretty) joint or blunt.

I've been smoking for about 6 years and can't really roll at all. No point for me to really I dont like joints at all and the only time I smoke blunts is with groups of friends which most of them can roll so I have no need. I'll take glass over a joint/blunt anyday.

If you can't roll I wouldn't consider you a seasoned toker... People can use the excuse that glass is better and bla bla bla. But there are situations where joints/blunts are a lot better. Like if you wanna be discreet, and smoking while you're driving..

I dont like joints that much because they dont pack a punch, the only reason i dont smoke out of glass is because i dont have any peices, But I love blunts....but the thing im trying to understand is what kind of stoner cant roll?

A true stoner wouldn't be confined to just rolling in that situation. What would you do if you had neither glass or papers? I understand what you're saying, but you seem to be focusing on such a minute application of weed that your definition of a "stoner" is hindered by such. Think outside the box.

There are hundreds of ways to smoke cheeba, rolling is just one of them.

Apples, socket bongs, tinnies, hot knives, car lighter vape, light bulbs, soda cans, eatables, the list goes on and on. The ability, in any circumstance, to smoke weed effectively, is what I define as true stonerism.

I've been smoking an 8th a week for the last six months and just harvested my first hydro grow. I can't roll to save my neck, but it'd be crazy to say that keeps me from becoming seasoned. Rolling is just something special, it's a treat to have something someone rolled now and then. I'd much rather use my glass. Tried learning how to roll a joint for a couple days and it just ended up pissing the hell out of me, not exactly what you're going for when you sit back to smoke the ganj.

I can roll, but im not a great joint and ive never rolled a blunt.

90% of the time I use my bong or another piece. My friends and I very rarely roll.

Blunts and Joints are just to convieneint to not know how to roll them...What do you do when you're cruising down the freeway? Are you still toking out of that big 2 foot bong?

I don't think you have a to be able to roll. Theres only one criteria for being a stoner, and that's smoking alot of pot.

I can roll smokeable joints and blunts. I do not, however, brag about them....they just aren't that good. I have been smoking for nearly three years and just never really rolled up that much...

I CANT ROLL FOR SHIT...but i consider myself a seasoned toker. Being a pothead isnt about how many different ways you can smoke the same shit. it is about how you act after the deed is done.

what im saying is that just cuss you cant roll doesnt mean you arnt seasoned...you are just less versatile in the places and manner in wich you smoke

Id say if you grow your own stash your a "seasoned" toker. Alot of people dont smoke joints.
