but a seasoned toker is a seasoned toker wether hey can roll or not, you cant really deny that BUT do you need to know how to roll a perfect jay or blunt to be considered a DEDICATED toker?

Rolling is important when you smoke a lot of joints or blunts, or want to type and toke at the same time. It's actually the same as a pipe, except that it's a cigarette instead of a pipe. They're smoking utensils.


A seasoned stoned just knows how to have a great time getting stoned, where no one gets ripped off or busted. He is at peace with his surroundings, perhaps, and can smoke out of whatever he wants.

I would say no, you don't have to know how to roll to be a seasoned toker.

I've rolled a fair share of times, but not for a couple years now, honestly. That's how little I smoke joints. They'll go around on 4/20 or special holidays where lots of herb is being smoked, but besides that everyone I smoke with usually sticks to glass.

I definitely prefer glass to a joint any day though, so that's a-okay with me.

I have been smoking at least once a day now for the last few years and I can't roll anything at all but I still consider myself a seasoned toker. For those of us guys that can't roll joints, a nice homemade bong or piece can always fill the gap.

It's deffinitly a skill i think every good stoner should have. But I don't think you must be able to roll to be considered a true stoner.

Being able to roll is a necessity for all stoners, but this does not define you as a stoner. To be labeled as a "stoner" you must smoke alot of pot and know how to smoke it almost every way possible (even homemade) because everyone knows its always fun to make a homemade pipe every once and awhile

I can roll a j, but I don't really do it right. I "roll" it all loose and shitty and stuff, twist the end off, then just pack the rest in by dumping it in the end and packing it down with a screwdriver. It actually makes for a really nice j, it just takes a long time and would be hard to do in a car or whatever. It's adopted from the blunt rolling technique where you don't tear the blunt wrap at all, you just roll the tobacco out and pack the weed in. It's called Gotti Style. I've never actually used it on a blunt. I've never rolled a blunt at all actually, but if I really wanted to learn I've got a couple homies who can roll like fucking masters. Besides, we can pack a bowl and drive like pros. My biggest advice would be get a frisbee golf frisbee and turn it upside down. The perfect tray for the on the go smoker!

I don't think that being able to roll qualifies you as a true seasoned toker. Mostly it's just smoking a lottt of weed. Being able to make a piece when you don't have a real one or can't roll is equally as important though. And not just shit you find on the internet. You should be able to come up with your own unique piece. Some of the best homemades I've used were just random cobbled together pieces that came from my imagination. So rolling's cool, but I don't think it makes you a seasoned toker. I consider myself seasoned, being that I can go through a quarter in 6 days easily, smoking just by myself, and I've been smoking for 2ish years.

Edit: It's not tin foil you gotta watch out for, it's aluminum foil or aluminum cans. Aluminum smoke inhalation can be a direct cause of Alzheimer's disease.
