Need opinions on next tube purchase

so, at this point in my glass career i've gone through about 5-6 tubes, and i've owned everything from 6" gas station mini-bongs to RooR.de, so here's my question...

up until this point most of my bongs have been about 18"+, usually straight tube with nothing more then a diffy, ice catcher, and sometimes an ashcatcher. so since i have/have had my fair share of bigger yet simple tubes i was thinking about this time going with something on the smaller side (12-16"), beaker, with maybe two percs, and a splash guard... any suggestions? i've kind of been digging the new Halo tubes that Zob has been doing, not to mention Zob has been doing some really ill 9-arm percs. i've also seen some pretty cool looking per(x), but don't know too much about them. any help/reccomendations on smaller perc'd tubes would help.

i only have 1 14.5 roor beaker whats the different between 14.5 and 18?

i assume you're talking not about the height of a tube in inches, but the size of your joint. there really isn't a difference between 14.4mm and 18.8mm joints aside from size. it just means that if you have a bong with a 14.4mm joint you'll need to make sure any bowls or a/c's or whatever you buy is the right size.
