Can't rip the bong the way i used to. Need help.

I remember back in the day i used to rip the bong like no other. Clearing a full packing in a hit was no problem. This is not the case anymore, I almost always cough from ripping the bong and blazing isn't the same anymore. I cough on almost every bong hit, and sometimes i say to my self "fuck it i am just gonna clear it and one hit and no matter what i will not cough" Then i flick the bic and and coughing my fucking brains out again. Idk if it's from cigs or what but i can't stand it. I don't know in what way you can really help but try!

If your a ciggarette smoker that will defintly do it to you because you dont have as much lung power as you do without smoking ciggs

What does lung power have to do with coughing? I can still rip the bong and clear the packing but i will just cough my lungs out. Even from the smaller hits on the bong i cough.

Maybe you are just past your smoking prime I hate to say it, but it might be true........or it could be the ciggs. I would try to give up the cancer sticks no matter what, maybe it'll help you rip the bong bigger as well as let you live longer and we all know those are both good things

same thing happened to myself.
I tried the Mind over Matter technique but i still coughed.
I use ice in my bong most of the time now and ithelps
but i still cough

same thing happened to me, i believe its a infection or virus causing excess mucus around or in your lungs, that was what seemed to be wrong with me

i just stopped all together for like a week and i was straight

try what I like to do.. use warm water in the bong instead of cold. i know this goes against everything most people say on these forums about having ice cold shit. i much prefer warm water over cold with ice. it's like the same principle as breathing in hot stuff when you're sick. the vapor is soothing to your throat. I posted a thread about this once and got flamed by people who haven't actually tried it themselves, but most agreed.

Nah, its not a virus in the throat or anything. The hairs in your throat move "dirty" mucous back into your pharynx. Except when you smoke cigs these hairs burn away and the mucous has to be coughed out instead of being automatically taken care of by the hairs. Quit the cigarettes!!! theres nothing good about the damn things!
