>>5 minute DIY Active Carbon Sploof<<

Need to smoke on the Down low? keep reading

heres how it went down, basically i got really baked and decided to make some thing... So i ended up making an active carbon air filter for our basement today (I'll post picts of that later) as well as this sploof.

So heres the process;
1) Get a tube to make your sploof outa.
- Since i want to keep it cheap I used the cardboard core from a roll of T.P. but in retrospect a paper towel sized roll would be better

2) cover one end with an air permeable cloth and secure it,
- i used a stocking, because i had bits of it left over, and rubber banded it on

3) Fill over 1/2 of tube with granulated active carbon (can be bought at pet store for like 10 bucks and that last a long time)

4) Put about an inch of breathable material on top of the carbon, you want it to seal the carbon in and not let it leak out.
- I used 3 cotton rounds (cylindrical cotton balls basically)

5) Criscross two sticks through the tube, to hold the plug against the carbon.
- I used incense sticks

6) Smoke and sploof

i would say that its 98% effective. Its a great solution for those of you who need to be stealthy, or if you want to blaze a car down.

While that seems like a great, intuitive idea, why couldn't you just use softener sheets?

i think a combination of the two would be good.

Dryer sheet sploofs work but you still can smell bud over them, they mask the smell. in some situations the strong smell of dryer sheets is more suspicious than no smell at all, which is what the carbon sploof does.

I used it tonight to see if it even works. It does, but it needs to be longer, probably a paper towel size filled halfway with carbon.

i dono it was just an activity to kill time, i felt like making stuff today

i feel that, i love making random shit like this.

its a great idea though, and the activated carbon will last a lot longer than the dryer sheets. a dryer sploof lasts only so long before it gets all resinated and nasty.

you could even improve the design with a pvc tube or something, and wire screen to hold the carbon in...idk my .02

Good idea.

Right now the spoof I use is made from a normal size sprite bottle and a bunch of dryer sheets.

I always feel kinda ghetto using it, I want to make a sick looking spoof that I wouldn't feel grimmy using with a friend. I was thinking about making a glass one if I could find a cheap glass tube.

Using a combination of dryer sheets and carbon is a good idea and theres no harm in being safe

yea i was thinking about how i could make this ridiculous multi chambered device and then remembered in the end its just a sploof haha

but yea a glass tube or pvc piece would make a great tube, in the end you could have a pretty groovy sploof
