Just got Busted

i just got busted last night. i got a ticket for possesion. its really shitty because although i prolly wont even lose my license i will still have to quit smokin for a while to pass the drug test im gonna have to be taking. dont worry Toker ill be back to the joker state of mind soon enough a lil break never hurt anyone. just gonna have to start drinkin a lil bit more, but i know that your dwn for that too.

anybody else got a busted story? i hope not though.

At the beginning of my senior year of high school I got busted. I dont wanna bore anyone with a long story but...to make a long story short: Two of my friends got in a fight, one was 18 one wasnt. The minor ended up having a broken nose and nerve damage and the police eventually got involved. My 18 year old friend got arrested at school and charged with felony battery. That has little to do with me actually getting busted, but was the "reason" behind the search. At lunch the same day my friend was arrested, another buddy of mine and myself were out at lunch smoking some bowls. At my school we didnt have open campus and we had to sneak around at lunch. Anyways, we ended up having a cop follow us all the way to Macdonald's after we were done smoking. We pulled in the lot and parked and he continued to follow us, and get out of the car as we were. At this point he didnt have his lights on or anything. It was the buddy that I was withs 18th b-day and he had just finished smoking a cigarette. The cop asked to see our id's and asked why we werent at school. We told him we left to go get lunch. He pulled us off to the side one at a time and asked both of us to search the vehicle because he smelled a strong sent of cologne. I said he had no reason to search it so NO. He said since the vehicle was registered to my dad he would call him and try to get permission granted to search. I said fine do it, knowing my dad isnt dumb enough to agree to something. After my dad also said that he couldnt search the vehicle he finally let us go. I know that seems like a lot to not get busted at that time but hold on the story gets better. I was at school in my last hour class when I am interrupted and taken from class to the office. When I got there there were two police officers and one detective. They told me that they wanted to look in my car for blood from the fight that I had mentioned earlier. I told them my car wasnt parked on school grounds and I had to get back to class for a presentation, but they could meet me at my car after school if they wanted to.
SOO, I sprinted to my car after leaving the office and grabbed my half ounce, pipe, grinder, and scale. However, i forgot to grab my bong in the trunk totally forgetting about it. Anyways after school comes and the detective is waiting at my car for me. At this point everything is in my backpack that I know of and I think I am safe. The officer takes samples from all over my car looking for "blood". Before I know it he calls me over and says that he has called the k-9 unit because he sees enough shake on my floor to pack a bowl, to put it in his own words. I say sure whatever I have nothing to hide anymore, its all safe in my bag no more than 50 yards away at the time. The dog arrived about 3 minutes later which seemed surprisingly fast. The dog went through my car and began to scratch at my glove box. This is where my half o was so it prolly stunk. I opened it up for them and they didnt find anything, but it smelled so strongly still that they tore my glove box apart looking in every nook and cranny of my car. The police continued to search my car and eventually found about .1 grams in a sunglasses container that I had forgotten about. When the police opened my trunk, I was so very devastated at this moment. My slightly used 130 dollar bong was laying down wrapped in a blanket. This was enough to get me for possession of thc.

After thinking about this entire situation, I figured that they had the entire thing planned to catch me with something from the beginning. At lunch they couldnt search me, so they did it in a different way that was complely irrelated to anything that I did. In short, I got fucked for doing nothing. I wasnt pulled over or anything, I did absolutely zero stupid besides leaving for lunch which should be allowed anyways.

Dude, I totally feel your pain from that. The town I live in is so fucking small and the cops have nothing better to do but pull people for doing 50 in a 45 or stopping them because they were supposedly "swerving around" the lane. But they will jump on any kind of charge they can. They will try and get a search warrant for your car just because they think you might be in possession of illicit substances. Even though it isnt successful they will try and target you until they bust you with anything; a gram or roach or something.
