Volcano's will last about 4 years give or take (depending on how well you take care of it) used is fine. turn it on, make sure it heats up properly. Check every temperature. You should vape at 4-1/2 ----6. Pack a freshie, turn to 4 and 1/2 and the bag should turn light grey. Not to much dark grey. if it does that then your heating unit is still accurate
