extreme deja vu

For the past few days, I have been pushing my mind to this extreme limit with the help of some really nice marijuana. I have been tripping pretty hard every night and hallucinate details, events, and conversations. You see, the last few times I've gotten really stoned I have been accompanied by a feeling of extreme extreme deja-vu. It feels like I should be able to predict what will happen next, because every time I get that high, I am incredibly positive that I have been in the situation before. Last night, for example, I meant two people that were just passing through my town and dropped in to see some friends - the only thing is, I felt like I knew them and that we had smoked before. The feelings are incredibly weird and hard to control - the first night it happened I really started to freak. Now, it seems like I can trigger the deja-vu feeling by performing certain actions while really high.

It has gotten to the point where I want to stop smoking for a while. I consider myself to be a chronic smoker (I am high more then I am not high.) When this started happening, it was right after a T break of a few days. I went to a session at this apartment and I thought that I had somehow crossed a space-time barrier and ended up at this party I was at 6 months earlier. Everything was the same; the conversations people were having were the same, the people playing Mario Tennis were doing the exact same moves, etc. Like I said, I felt like I should have been able to predict their conversations because when it happens.

Anyway, yeah, it's been freaking me out to the point where I'm about to give up marijuana unless I'm smoking by myself. I have been told that maybe I have a mental illness, or even possibly brain cancer. Maybe I have found a point where two or more alternate realities join up together, or an knot in the string theory that allows me to bridge the gap between universes. Who knows?

I wanted to know if there was any other similar experiences on the city.

I am pretty sure it is safe to say it is not a mental illness or brain cancer because it only happens while your high. I have had some of those same feelings whenever I have been super high, and to be honest you're probably just getting really high then paranoid and overthinking everything.

i get really big cases of deja vu also. the only difference is that i dream it first, then live it. its really weird, like you'll be living a normal situation, and then BAM, a little alarm goes off in my head and I'll realize that i've actually felt the scenario before. its more sensory based rather than visual, the visual deja vu happens less frequently.

I have no idea what it may be, but Im not one to question a good thing. just think of it as a unique personal trait.

I get deja vue alot as well. I doubt marijuana has anything to do with it however. Maybe your psychic? I have had plenty of dreams of things that end up happening later on in the day, maybe your having the same thing, except you can't remember the dreams? haha I don't know what to tell you, but I wouldn't give up smoking because of it.

I have this exact thing as well. Since i was a kid ive always dreamed things and i experience them sometime later on in my life. During the experience you are over come by a strong feeling of recognition. But i usually just pass it off as mind games accompanied with smoking dope, come on guys cant let that shit get to yea that much.

Hmm I mean for me it's not so much as a "dream," just that I'll go to this party, and soon I'll get really high, start seeing double, then be able to predict exactly what's going to happen next, because the party is really just one that I was at a few weeks ago. Someone said maybe I hallucinate the details around me to recreate the party for some reason.

The last time it happened I really tried to recognize it and roll with it and see where I went, but the whole time I felt like I was on a tightrope and was about to fall off into nothingness. So it was kinda creepy...

It was like that for me when I first started smoking regularly. I would get baked and feel like I just went back in time a week. It happened every time I smoked for like two weeks, then just went away on its own and hasn't happened since.

Basically I just got through it by reminding myself that I didn't travel through time but am just very stoned.
