My Official First Post

Well i would like to start off by introducing myself, my name is Scott i am 18 years old been greened out for atleast 3-4 years by now and most importantly being my main reason i smoke pot so much i reside in beautiful British Columbia Vancouver. Must I say this may be my first post but Ive been reading threads here for the past couple years and i just here about everyones misfortunes with the laws in the states and just thank god everyday I live here, born and raised. My parents were heavy marijuana users during my young child hood so i was surrounded by the substance my whole life and have picked up many skills in the trade.
I Have included some pictures of the various goodies I have compiled through out past 5 months alone. First which is everyones best friend my bong. Pyrex locally blown, this bong stands at a tall but not too tall 16inches with icepinch, widestem diffuser and ashcatcher which matches my bubbler if anyone noticed and yes she hits smoooth. Pictures 1 through 3 is also pyrex and locally blown, my bubbler. Hits nice a good on the go sort of thing. I hit this baby everyday on my break a work never did me bad was a solid buy. All the glass i obtained from bcmp book store downtown if anyone is ever in the downtown vancouver area i suggest you stop by this store you wont be displeased. Picture 5and 8 my Payload bags it is a 4 bag kit sizes 220u,90u,73u,and 25u, which i produce some of my fine hashishs with. If anyone hasnt heard of Payload bags and is looking into bubble bags i highly suggest Payload. They are the same quality if not better then there competitors for a more affordable cost and they ship throughout canada and the us. And Last but not least my poor attempt with my shitty camera to try to capture an image of what i smoke here in bc. I obtain quarter pounds of various strains of kush from og - bubba always of superior quality at a price i cant argue with usually from 550-650. Oh and if anyone could help me with taking better close ups. Should i turn off flash etc. Thanks too all who lasted to the end of my first official post im pretty stoned and it turned out longer then i expected hah. Well back to the bong. Thanks a lot, the gear you see is only the tip of the iceberg. I have owned over $1000 in glass but not all of it is here due to various police incidents and our bongs enemy the force of gravity. And may I add i love it here in Vancity, Its funny when i was young i really didnt no i would benefit from living here so much. I always figured the states was the place to be.

Hah funny you say that. I just picked up a bottle of iso last weekend, I tend to just use iso alone tho it cleans it just as well and you dont have to put salt in your bong. But if there are any upsides to using salt?

You use salt for abrasion reasons.

Just cover the bottom of your piece in salt, it wont dissolve in the alchohol, only water. add some alchohol iso (just enough to keep the salt moving, like a paste) and slide it around the pipe/glass. any calcium buildup on the side of your tube will be knocked off witht he salt and alchohol.

Alchohol cleans well but it never really gets calcium buildup off or gunk stuck to the side of your pipe off. The salt knocks the loosened peices of gunk off while the alchohol cleans.

I was aware of its abrasive characteristics but now that you have further cleared up that it helps/aids in removing calcium and gunk I will use salt when i iso it this weekend. Ill get some pics up of it nice and shiny clean.

woot van city was born there but now i live Vancouver Island.. u should bring sum dank over here my sis lives in Van and they bring that shit in all the time but the stash is running low... i need sum dank over here i do have many ppl that have sum here but i want that AAA bomb chron... u no what i mean..

take a trip to the rock man... i fucking hate HONGCOUVER tooo many azns for me.. if i went over there i no i would end up killing on or two..

Nice to meet you. I also live up here in BC, and I wouldn't really want to live anywhere else.

The only downfall to BC is the glass scene is severely lacking. I've heard that PHX is selling tubes here now, but I've yet to find one. Hopefully other brands mosey their way over here and start selling me some good tubes. I'm tired of the generic factory glass being put in all of the wonderful stores.

Anywho, glad to see you on GC. I'm fairly new here also, just trying to get a feel for the place still. I'm definitely likin' what I'm seeing so far. Very down-to-earth community.
