Opium Poppy Grow [Questions]

So I got some opium poppy seeds online last year and I'm not too keen on growing them properly. I do know they will need to be sown within the next month (just before all the snow is gone.)
I also know that they need there space as their roots will tangle and they will choke if you will.
But I'm definetly not too keen on growing indoors (If possible) I am also unsure as to the easiest way to go about this.

I included a pic of the seeds (The "Botanical specimen/Not for sowing" was a legal thing for the website, shipping or w.e.)



P.S. Im also unclear on the germination process aswell, or if these seeds will still germinate after a year of being in a ziplock bag in a drawer.

So after all that stoned babbling help would be apprieciated

you should have no probs sowing these. Soak in water overnight and then sprinkle them into a shallow furrow in the ground. Wait until after the ground thaws.

Thanks but i was looking for more info.. can I sow these in a public place, or will they be noticed?...

I pretty much have no idea what I'm doing besides what I noted before and how to harvest.

i think you're fine. the most noticable plant is mj, but ive never even seen a poppy plant. just do it wherever.

if you're just planting to plant, put them wherever; but, they are illegal to grow in the US.

If you're growing them for their resin, then you will need to puncture and scrape the pods. doing this in a "public place" is definately NOT a good idea.

You didn't ask anything specific other than about sowing them. that's the answer you got. If you want to know things, you need to ask. You want answers, ask questions.

Jesus f. christ, your right, I'm quite blazed right now, sorry for the confusion. I Will try to clarify.

Can it be grown indoors?
If not could I sow them, say, on the side of a highway without worry?
What kind of care do they need if any?
Is there ferts for better/more potent yeilds?

If more questions spring up I will post them.

Yes, they can be grown indoors. Like anything, they need light. More = better. They do pretty well indoors. Put them in some soil and on a sunny window sill.

Yes, you can sow them on a highway. People might wonder what you're doing there evey week stabbing the pods though.

They are pretty wasy to care for. Feed them once and a while, keep them watered. Give them light. Sing to them.

I just used the average "Schultz" green eye-dropper stuff. You can even grow them hydroponically. I just did soil though.

Thanks a lot, I didn't know i could just grow them in a window, thats seems cheap and easy

Probly will end up putting them outdoors through, I'm sure they'll be happier there.

i swear the opium poppys are the normal red poppys arent they, kinda easy to get hold of the seeds, but i could be wrong.

grow them in a private place they are very noticable

once you start scoring and bleading the pods there going to be easley recognizable

as for growing them just put them in an area with lots of light give them water go to a nursery look for some fertilizer that says it works for poppies and take care of them
its not that hard

remember that it is illegal so dont be obvious

dude, my advice is, dont grow it. think about in the long run, its going to fuck peoples lives up and stuff. I mean come on, opium? grow the herb and help people, not this stuff man.

dont they make heroin out of opium? if that is correct i also say dont grow it but if u must grow it inside were others cant see it.
