can i legally get arrested for this?

Last night i was at a hockey game, after some fans threw squids on the ice i flicked a cop off that kicked someone out. He pointed for me to come to him and since im on probation i freaked out and ran. I almost made it to the exit but was met by six cops who cuffed my hands and ankles then proceeded to pepper spray me. They placed me under arrest for disorderly conduct and and resisting arrest.

Side Note: WHile i was on the ground one of the officers punched me in the head twice and slammed my head on the pavement, can this help me out at all??

Police brutality at its finest. The sad thing is, you can't punch them in the head!

And why the hell did they pepper spray? My word.

In terms of arrestable offense, they could construe the flicking off thing as assault, who knows, wouldn't surprise me though. BUT if they overdid it, you may have some leverage.

i think the only law you broke was running from LEO while on probation. . .

giving anyone the bird is free speech and since you were so far away he cant really say he felt immediately threatened by you

if i were in your position, i'd get myself a lawyer. you got pepper sprayed and punched in the head for flicking a PIG off and attempting to run. i don't see where the police brutality plays a part in that scenario. they were in no danger, so their actions were definitely unnecessary.

you flipped a cop off (why, that is like poking a beehive with a stick) and then ran? what do you think he was going to do?

there clearly something left out of this story, there is no way six cops would mace and beat you for flipping one off.

You aren't to bright for flipping a cop off while on probation. Then you ran, of course he is gonna chase you.

Then you saw 6 cops...did you give up right then? Or did you try to run through them or get away from all of them too? if that's the case of course they are gonna peppers spray you when you're struggling to get away from 6 police officers. Or were you pepper sprayed AFTER cuffed?

But yes, by the sound of your story the officers had every right to arrest you.

NO i didn't run from six cops it took six of them to restrain me and of course i resisted arrest wouldnt you if you were getting taken to jail for something as bullshit as giving a cop a finger??? And by the way i was punched as they were cuffing me and perpper sprayed after they had both my legs and hands cuffed.

to the OP, the cop was doing his job and escorting out unruly fans.

you flipped off another human being who didnt do shit to you.

the cop summons you over, you dont even know he might have just wanted to talk, or shoot you in the face who knows.

the point is, you ran like a piece of shit criminal who had something to hide, so the cops treated you like a piece of shit criminal that had something to hide.

if you hadnt have given the cop the finger, none of this would have happened.

this was purely a result of your temporary stupidity.

they didnt beat him for flipping one off they beat him cuz he ran from the one when they came to talk to him... running from the police is illegal and stupid if you know you cant get away becasue they dont know why you are running and will anything to get you in cuffs... i still cant believe you tried to run in an arena
