Silica Gel
would it be a good or bad idea to stick a packet of silica gel in my nug jar? i read that silica gel kinda absorbs water so i was thinking it would be helpful in taking out the moisture

In theory I think it would but I dont know if it would have any effect on the bud itself.

Word. It'd get too dry probably. The smoke is harsher in my experience with over-cured nugs.

Just let it dry out naturally by leaving it out overnight or so.

Really it depends on how fresh it is, it may take longer. When I but my crop, it usaully takes a week 5-7 days for it to be smokable. This is at room temp, and in the dark.
