here in hawaii (especially the smaller islands like Kaua'i)

people dont know how it is in the mainland in places like cali, so they expect to get grade-A for the same price they pay for grade-B or anything else...$20 g $60 1/8 $120 1/4 $200-250 1/2 and $400-500 1oz

they get bitchy when if u tell them "hey man this shit isnt like the last one, its str8 up AAA shit and if u want it its gonna be $25 a g $70 1/8 $130 1/4 etc" ...they will say some bullshit like "wat!??? no way man ill just go get a G from the other guy"

u may think that the price is high here but keep in mind that most of the herb sold here is imported from the mainland, thats the reason why it costs more, it takes alot more time and resources to get it here and the risk is higheer to ship it here and recieve it in mass quantities

i feel like people here dont appreciate their dealers enough, they dont realize that without our risk, they would have nothing but banana leaves to smoke! lol, i mean they can smoke their homegrowns but it aint the same quality they can get from the BUD MAN

ill come acrosss the right guys sometimes that actually have their heads out of their asses and they will speak my language and know what really is up nowdays and they pay the price for the best and thats what i appreciate

on Maui i see a better mentality about the purchase of different grades of herb, people know the deal and dont have a problem with it because they know that the extra $5 or $10 bucks will be well worth it and simply be more worth while than getting less quality shit, i also see that on Maui they actually know the exact name of the strain, theres so much weed slang here that most of the time when u get your bud it has been passed through so many dealers and buyers that the real name of the strain is lost and the guy u get it from will make up name for it that he thought "sounded cool" lol (which i laugh about sometimes kuz i wasnt born yesterday and im pretty well versed in growing so i know my shit)

but yeah, how would u like to grow a seed u got from a bud and not know what strain it is or know what genetics it has? i for 1 dont like not knowing what im smoking or growing, mostly for future reference and so i know which strain to look forward to next time

dealers here are forced to sell 3.0 1/8's instead of 3.5 because of the rising prices, either that or some dealers give up selling 1/8s and 1/4's completely and only sell grams and the stuff in between

Shitty deals for Hawaiian89. On Oahu I pay $420 an oz at the most for dank headies. Grams never go above $20, 1/8 is usually 55-$60. Just matters who you know and if your cool with them.

..... Who would pay those prices? Only pricks charge that much for even the dankest of herb. I've picked up Heavenly x Gods Gift at $100 per quarter.
