Wanted: Bong

For the money there's absolutely nothing wrong with Phire. I have a fairly large glass collection that range from $10 pieces that are mainly just cool "collector" pieces that I just liked the way they looked up to about $800 pieces that I use regularly. Most of the RooR pieces are not even made in or with German glass like they used to be made so be carefull if buying from a local head shop. I have 3 Phire pieces I believe, one of which is the stemless saxophone which is a wicked hit. They've out lasted a few of my seriously expensive pieces. If you want a serious piece I honestly would recommend Hurricane, they're pricey but I would buy one of these over any RooR. Here's a link:

Just my 2 cents, seriously just get what you personally can afford, something that catches your eye, something that you will like not what others buy just because of brand name. If it gets you highly medicated who cares. If you're worried about a nice smooth, healthier smoke that you hit daily you might want to think about a Volcano or some other vaporizer.

Nice pieces, my wife has one very similar to that pink one with a ash catcher and she loves it. I like that frosted piece as well. The frosted finish gives a nice grip when condensation builds up on the outside or if you're cleaning it. I was speechless when I was cleaning a $600 piece as I watched it slip through my fingers and shatter in my kitchen sink.

for $300 I would get a 5.0 roor.de tube black lable (around $250) you can either add extra $100 for a roor a/c or get a different a/c for $50

Honestly RooR isn't that special in my opinion either. Don't get me wrong RooR is a good piece but nothing spetacular as all the popularity people give them. I like pieces with a little more heady with some artistic attitude.

ROORs are expensive, but the best quality, and rip your balls off. Lux, illadelph and toro are nice too.

i have an AMG 2 footer straight tube with an ice catcher and a roor gstar diffuser practically brand new with a jbd bag and extra stem. it's all clear and its great quality. im selling it for $150 free shipping, or if youre local we can meet some where. im in the los angeles area. when you recieve it it will be brand new looking and real clean. i have to get rid of it because i tend to smoke more when i use a bong. and i really wanna try to keep my smoking to a minimum as much as possible. so i really have no use for it. you wont go wrong with this bong. shes 2 weeks old. i can send pics if you'd like. pm me if you wish. you wont go wrong with this. it's a great piece definitely. and i feel bad. $150 for an amg roor like quality 2 footer all clear glass on glass straight tube with an ice catcher and a roor diffuser plus bag is a great deal.

phires are no joke, they hit as good as any roor, with near-zero drag. They are a good bargain too.

i dunno if you can tell, but that pink one is stemless for 119$ at that shop... and phire pipes come with the best bowl ive ever seen.

MGM has the same standard bowl. They aren't the best bowls, roor bowls and bongs are better than phires. Get off phire's nuts.

They do make good pieces for the money, but i swear i always see you supporting Phire in just about any thread which you can possibly bring there name up in. Its almost as if you're advertising you bring them up so much.

That would be cause there are 2 divisions of RooR, (RooR.de and RooR.us)All the RooRs you buy in headshops are American, And the American RooRs are just as good quality as the German ones.

for those dissing PHiRE i have some news. 1.) It is no longer possible to purchase a new ROOR with a bent neck and a perc in the US. you can with PHiRE. 2.) PHiRE uses tree percs now not dome percs. 3.) You can buy a PHiRE with 3 percs. can't buy a triple perc'd ROOR. 4.) PHiRE makes up to 9mm tubes.

I own a PHX duo, my roomate has a ROOR Icemaster, and i also own a bent neck PHiRE with a tree perc. I like it better than the others.

Even if I enjoyed ROOR more, they are a terribly elitist company. I don't care about the price, but for ROOR.de to tell ROOR.us not to make bent neck tubes or triple perc tubes is rediculous.

Um Lux RooR.us's sister company produces bent necks and percs (yes triple percs to) Also RooR.de has changes its tune regarding percs, They even did a RooR.de perc, And it looks as if RooR.us has started producing RooR percs again, Check Sheize's thread he just recently got a new RooR mini perc and a RooR double perc yellow label.

Thats a custom, So i doubt they would have one like that just on the shelves.
