Smoking While Sick?

Is this a good idea, or will i just feel even more like shit?

Maybe it might make me feel better, anyone have past experience while smoking when they were sick?

My cure for the common cold/flu is Sudafed and weed. For all other ailments, replace the Sudafed with whatever other drugs make you feel better.


I do think that smoking weed will make your immune system slightly weaker, so it may take longer to get over a cold, but you wont feel as shitty while you have the cold. I've never been able to tell though. My colds usually hang for weeks anyway though.

its not medicinal for no reason, lol. i usually do smoke when im sick but piggahs right, smoking kill vitamin c which is necessary for a healthy immune system. pop a 500 mg vitamin c supplement before you smoke. only take 2 a day though, more than that is wasteful because your body will get rid of the excess vitamin c. SHMOKE IT UP and get well soon. peace.

yeah emergency has load of vitamin c ..i always take them while sick...i blaze while im sick as well i just try to cut back a little if its my lungs that feel shitty

yea me personally i would smoke maybe a bowl while im sick and usually i feel alot better maybe more harsh but it helps make you want to eat something as well

I had an 1/8 the last time I had a cold, and I didn't get high even after smoking over half of it in less than 15 minutes. It was good weed, too. It does work for some people, but don't be surprised if nothing happens.

Well it doesn't help your throut. It just makes it worse. If you can deal with that though then game on. I do it all the time. Makes me feel good. But I can't really talk a lot or very loud, but w/e. I can deal. lol

I used to be opposed to smoking while sick, but it does make you feel a lot better and actually helps clear out all kinds of mucus and phlegmh (spelling?).

I've been sick for a week and smoked everyday. Definately helps, both pain and the sickness blues. I do smoke less though, hard on the lungs for sure. But I have a vaporizer

It's been said that weed is an expectorant, and for me that's always proven true. So it does help to remove a lot of the mucus and phlegm from your lungs, like a poster above also said.

My personal cure is lots of weed and lots of vitamins. I like taking that airborne shit because it's packed with vitamins and has some herbal supplements as well, I believe.

Picking up some good cough drops (I like the Ricola Honey Lemon personally) might make it easier on your throat to smoke.

Well to find out after all i had just more than a cold, i went to the doctor today and found out i had a respiratory infection so he put me on some meds... but thanks everyone for your input

phlegm + thc = coughing all night. I had a phlegmy cough for ab out 2 weeks and smoking only made it last longer. however its not terrible, just know that it will prologn the sickness
