hello everyone, good morning!! Well unfortunately i was so high last night i knocked over my blue dot, it didnt break the joint off (thank god) but it did scrape the top of the joint a little, where the downstem twists in, and i was wondering if this affects the seal when you hit it? I would take a picture but its so hard to see.

Those scrapes on the top of the joint are called fleabites, and usually occur from the downstem sticking to the bowl and dropping in too hard on the joint...

It doesn't effect the seal at all, but might weaken the joint slightly, or be a break point for a future fall...just be careful.

Ok, i tried as hard as i could to get a picture of the "flea bites" So here it is , you can kind of see them

Should be fine, I've seen glass joints missing huge chunks but they still sealed up fine.
