Box and Whip Style Vaporizer Whip Question.

Hello,

I own a box and whip style vaporizer identical to the Vapor Bros model. I have just purchased a new whip due to my old one breaking, and it's different than mine. I was wondering if you put your weed on the side of the whip that would be touching the heat rod, because thats the way I remember using it before my whip broke. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Peace and Love.
