Drinking bong water?

I brought my new mini bong to work today (pic here), and we smoked a few sessions in the back, and at the end, i emptied the bong water into an empty water bottle, so i can take it out and dump it in the sink and not look obvious. when the bong water was in the water bottle, it was a light brownish color, similar to over-steeped green tea. as i dumped it out, it smelled absolutly horrible, so i gave the empty bottle a wiff, and it was rancid.

so my friend says, "have you ever drank that?", and i said, "hell no... why have you??", he said he did, and i asked why the fuck you would, and he said it gets you fucked up. i repeated in amazement asking if i heard correctly, and he said he drank it once and it got him fucked up.

so i was wondering if bong water gets you fucked up? or if it's just one of those lame placebo things that go around.

anyone drank bong water before?

I don't think it gets you high because if the water trapped the THC, I'm pretty sure it would trap all of it and not just some of it. I could be wrong though. But the water does contain tar, and you'd be drinking that shit and that's just nasty.

THC is not soluble in water, so no it will not get you high.

I'm pretty sure the amount of THC that the milk absorbed would be nearly minuscule without heating it.

now imagine that effect in a bong... not a good outcome.

I doubt much THC would actually attach to the fat in the milk. Not to mention, it would bubble like crazy like Slim said.
