The Zeke335 Tolerance break

Yo people. I've decided to take a little break from weed for short while. I've been smoking almost everyday since 2002. The last break I had was when I was arrested in 2005 and put in a metal home for 2 weeks so I had no choice but to sober up. The high after that was awesome. So I think I'm going to go on a break for a minimum of 12 to 14 days and see how it goes.

A few months ago I tried this and only lasted 1 day without weed. Hope it goes better this time.

I'll keep GC update on how the break is going

Day 1 hour 1: No morning joint, isn't bothering me too much not shaking yet. But still can't get smoking weed off my mind.

Wow you can't even quit for one day? I'm sorry not to sound like an asshole or anything but you shouldn't let weed take over you like that. I have been smoking straight for quite some time (smoker for um 6 years now, non-stop for about 1 year) and 3 weeks ago i decided to stop and take a T-break for 2 months... So far i haven't had any cravings, i mean i think about it when i see my bongs or w/e but just don't think about it, or associate yourself with it... You can do it man, it's all about NOT THINKING ABOUT IT..

Honestly i find that i have to stop hanging out with a huge group of friends (all the stoners) in order to quit, because if i've got that group with me, and they smoke, it's going around in a circle and they like you want a hit, i can't resist really...

Yo everyone thanks for the responses so far.

Day 1 hour 14: Missing the spliffs but missing the night time habit of sitting in a dark room with a spliff even more I wonder how I‘m gonna get to sleep tonight.
Had 2 bottles of vodka to try and help that just made me crave a spliff more aint doing that again. Alcohol sucks, I feel drunk, sick and I need a spliff no more alcohol during this break. Heck no more alcohol ever!!

Day 2: couldn't get the weed of my mind last night, took me ages to get to sleep. Puked up 3 times thanks to voda. Today now I could care less if I had a spliff at the moment but I have a feeling that night time craving will hit me again. Last night I just chained some cig where my weed session would be. Tolerance breaks are hard stuff for the chronic smoker add to fact that I got some weed under my bed just waiting to be smoked, I got a Dutch passion white widow growing right behind me in my room and I'm on Marijuana forums like GC a lot. I must of thought about weed over 50 times. hope it aint like that today.

Tis only day 2 and it feels like I aint had a joint in ages. but like someone said to me on my: Make the high come back thread: " Suck it up and take a month off" So I'll just tough it out.
