This thread will probably be helpful to a lot of the people on here. I really would have liked to talk to someone about my depression a couple years ago, but it's somewhat over with. Actually, I cannot say that last sentence with 100% truth, but I'm in a much healthier mental state now then I was a couple years ago. So hats off to everyone that likes to help..

I thought I might throw somethin in this thread, even though it might be moved soon or w/e. Anyway, I been feelin a little down these past few days. When I was back at school I would smoke everyday with my buddies and they were great times. When I got back home, I took a rather long tbreak, about three weeks, while I was looking for a job. During this time my mum told me she dosen't like that I smoke and dosen't want me smoking at all, but definately not in the house. I been smokin this past weekend, but I alwasy feel bad when I do it now because I've been surrounded by all this anti drug crap and now when I smoke I just feel like a criminal, or a bad person, like I really am throwing my life away and being lazy. Anybody else ever start to believe all the propaganda after being exposed to it quite a bit?

I try to be social, I really do, but it isn't working very well. I don't know.

I guess I came to this thread to vent. I'm thinking about death (not suicide) right now and it just makes me feel lonely as fuck. I've never had many people who I know in real life to talk to ever since I changed schools. And now that I'm out of school completely I have NO ONE to talk to. Now I have resorted to using online forums to talk to people and it just makes me feel shittier knowing that.

I dunno, I'm just depressed as fuck and my meds aren't helping me. I'm at the point where the only thing that helps is MJ, and I'm broke and have no connects anyways.

Fuck.

EDIT: Thought I would add in that I have severe depression with psychotic features. I attempted suicide (well, attempted to attempt, I had a loaded pistol) on December 30th and posted a "suicide note" on this forum, so I feel like I can talk about it here.

I switched schools just about every 4-5 years for the 20 years of my life. I have social anxiety and I try my hardest to manage it. I can function in social situations better now because I have learned to not worry so much about what others think of me.

It may not matter much but a lot of people I have been friends with in different states over the years have life long friends. I, however, have not have a friend longer than 4 years. It's not too hard to meet new friends in your city bro. Visit the mall, go to the movies, try to be more social. You have to try to fill your time up with activities to keep your mind from going idle and training thoughts.

Go fishing man that's always my favorite activity when times are tough, it costs merely nothing and it's always a stress reliever.

Not sure how much this will help out, just thought I'd let you know you aren't the only person who has your disorder.

I may start working on/make the new thread tonight, so for the tons of people who havn't been added yet, you will be added then. For anyone that does not know, the reason you havn't been added is because there is a limit to the number of times one can edit a post, and I reached that limit long ago for this thread.

Well actually, it's either that (it's one of the two, I'm just too high to remember) or you just can't do it after a certain amount of time since the post... either way, I can no longer edit it, which will be the biggest reason of the new thread.

If it's not the latter that holds true, as far as editing, editing will then be kept to a minimum, or I will make a reserved post right after the OP.
