Honey oil vs Iso oil. HARDCORE OIL MAKERS ONLY!!!

ok guys that make oil.

what is the best way to make oil, me and my buddies tested it yesterday, 1/2 oz with butane, and a half oz with iso.

Butane oil- very gold, very strong taste, very potent, didnt get much.

Iso oil- (wasnt done perfectly, the iso wasnt cold enough but it still came out good), it was very dark, didnt have as strong of a taste as the butane oil, got more oil, and its wwaayy cheaper then butane.

im usually make my oil with butane, but form now im, im sticking to the iso!!.

also, does anyone know which is "healthier" for you. the iso is 99%, and im sure the butane can be anywhere from 96-99.9% depending on how much you make it bubble and whatnot.

When i make oil, i quick press it thru a filter, i comes out really golden colored. I've been told that the iso absorbs thc almost instantly, but isn't given enough time to absorb the clorophil.

btw i use methyl hydrate instead of iso

thats methyl hydrate? how do you do it that way??

and yeah i use a filter, i put in the honey bee extractor. i read somewhere to use unbleached ones, so i do that too. comes out a very very nice golden color. just like honey

methyl hydrate is like 99.8% alcohol based, some kinda painting supply, u can get at home depot or canadian tire. you don't soak it. just pour it over ur ground cured weed thru a filter, then either cook it for a speedy evaporation, or leave it sit to evaporate. i cook mine in a pyrex pie plate, as soon as its tottally evaporated i throw the pie plate in the freezer. scrape it and shmoke it!!!

thats what i do pretty much to make some dank hash its awesome. i just use everclear and shake the bud in a jar
