Hydro or "dro" is just a grade of weed like dank/piff mids regs...at least in NY

dro is another word for beasters

i smoked purple hydro once but it looked a lot different than regular bud.. it was flattened dense nugs and were really dark purple.. it was really leafy like when we packed bowls the people i smoked with said ur supposed to tear off each leaf and pack the bowl like that to get a better smoke

the reason your nugs were flatish was just because they were all compressed together for shipping. and the extra leafy business comes from the grower not taking enough time in manicuring the buds. some say that the leaves make for a harsher smoke and should be removed prior to smoking but i really dont notice a difference unless im smoking from a dry piece. if i get leafy buds i smoke all of it. if im paying far thru the ass for weed as one must do here then by god im smoking all of it. now im not saying that your weed was less than dank but it could have been taken better care of in the process of getting it to you.

I was at a friends house when when of their friends tried some of my friends dank bud and called it "High-dro". He said it in two parts like that. What a dumbass.
