ROOR Percs

Unfortunately, my favourite ROOR icemaster 5.0 broke a few days back, completely shattered. i've been looking into getting a new one, possibly one with a perc. could somebody give me some info on them, as to about how much thry run and how tall are they. i know that only roor us makes percs, that doesn't bother me. if anyone has one, please post pics.

RooR.us no longer makes perc'd tubes.

They are now made under the name Lux Scientific.

If you are looking for the exact same thing as a RooR perc, you should look into buying a 24" Lux perc.

If you want something a little smaller, they make 14" and 18" perc'd models as well.

The 24" are something like 350 I think.
The 18" are 280-300
The 14" are 225-250

I'm to lazy to dig up pics

it's pretty much impossible to get a roor perc anymore. some headshops put them out rarely, but it's generally just in socal, some around the country, but pretty damn rare. and extremely expensive.

get a lux, same makers as roor percs, just different brand because roor germany put a stop to roor.us making percs.

I don't know how much exactly LUX or Ph(x)'s run, but having hit out of a Ph(x) Trinity, my god I wish I had one.

They're fantastic. Absolutely awesome.

GL with your purchase

How much each runs is dependent upon the shop.

If you picked up a Lux from a Dementia it would be the cheapest you could find them.

Trinity's are a pretty nice hit...but having owned both a dome and tree perc...the tree perc owns. Hell, I sold my Trinity(dome) for my Toro(tree).

Does a Lux/Roor make that much of a difference?
I have an Illadelph, love the ashcatcher, but I can't say that I would pay $300 for it (paid about half for the tube).

Is it really worth the money, or is it like having an aligator on your polo shirt - simply being able to show everyone how much you spent?
