? about glass on glass
ive seen some glass on glass waterpipes with blue watchamahusits connected to the joints what are these and where do you get them?

these are called "K-clips" I believe, and they come with Illadelph tubes. I'm not sure if they're available seperately, but theres a good chance.

word good lookin out. are they for holding the joints together? im getting a trinity on weds and if this will help extend the life of my parts even a little bit i want to track some down.

debauch is right its keck clips and you can find them on ebay and like was said above GonG joints have a tendency to stick once they get resined up the keck clip holds the downstem in so if the slide sticks the downstem stays in place
i have never had this problem with my RooR but if you feel unsure i suggest getting one they are fairly cheap and could save you quite a bit of money in the long run

they fit roors and they are lifesavers. when you pull out the slide sometimes the glass on glass will stick and the downstem will come out along with the bowl. i pulled it out once on accident and ended up breaking the down stem. the clips prevent this horrible tragedy from happening
