Parental Discretion Is Advised

Hi Grasscity folk,
I have been token for a while and one thing i have noticed is that a lot of people that post on the "seasoned tokers" section of this forum are really young. Not that I am slamming on young people, nor am i saying you are too young to smoke weed, but if you are a freshman in highschool and you are considering yourself a "seasoned toker", you might want to take a look around at the people your age and notice that not that many regularly smoke weed. I started smoking when i was 17, and yet i was not worring about bong size or if glass is better than steel. I was taking many other variables into consideration. And no, I am not saying that if you smoke weed every day you will live with your parents the rest of your life, but KEEP YOUR FOCUS ON SCHOOL! Honestly. I am 27 and I graduated with my Bachelors about 3 years ago... But I dont think many High School students actually understand that your grades and "extracurricular acticities" have a huge inpact on your future. I apologize if i offended any of you young folk, but i had to add my 2 cents. If any other "seasoned tolkers" would like to add to this, please do. Happy smoking.

Blindoutfit

PS: If you are 14 or under and reading this, I place all blame on your parents.

It is true that some kids when they smoke too young allow weed to supercede their responsibilities.

I'm 21 years old, been smoking since I was 10. I've been through my shares of problems with and without marijuana. I have long since seen marijuana as a medicinal use, not something to "fight the man" or be a rebel. Once everyone realizes, whether or not their 18, that weed should be used to enhance your life and not overtake it, then we wouldn't have many problems.

I tottally agree with the OP. When I started smoking, ohhhh 17 years ago, I thought I could outsmoke anyone on the planet. Really saw myself as a "seasoned toker". WRONG!!

Yeh, definately smoke and enjoy life, but take your education as seriously as you take learning about new methods of smoking pot and you will do fine in the future.

Meh, age isn't important. Responsibility and maturity are, though. It seems like a lot of older folk seem to forget that.

I've only been smoking like 3 years, but I still keep my stuff all together, school, 2 jobs I don't let it affect my life.

But to the OP, they're all suppost to be 18 when they sign up here, so I doubt you'll get anyone to actually admit they're underaged

i agree with the OP that you should keep your focus on school and that the herb should be used to enhance life and not overtake it. i don't consider myself a seasoned toker yet but you'll still catch me posting here.

are you serious? you have a point in a way but when your a teenager your still growing mentaly and physically and dumping chemicals into your system then is bound to take some kind of a toll. children are irrational to begin with. we certainly dont need to add to that with drugs and alchohol, even if little bobby is mature for his age.

I can understand that, but I started smoking when I was 13 . I don't drink though, I hate alcohol. I've cut way down on cigarettes, too. That probably made me sound like a stereotypical nicotine addict, I'm going to shut up now.
