So yea, some of you saw my post in a thread that said id never smoke with people that smoke resin. This is true, if you ever come to one of my sessions with res, ill show you the door. For all you resin lovers, here are some things to think about.

THC gets destroyed at high temperatures. So after you smoke that bowl, theres really NO THC left in the resin.

Resin burns at higher temperatures than pot, which is very harmful to your lungs.

If you get 'high' from resin, its probably from holding your breath for a long time in hope of getting higher off that resin smoke.

Bottom line, DONT SMOKE THAT JUNK.

i dont think ive smoked resin in 2 years. I gave up pretty quickly being it tastes like you think poop would taste like.

its pretty gross, and you can feel how heavy it is in your lungs. i really hate resin. but everyone has there own oppinions man.

Yea, I'm a resin smoker. I've had speculation on it for some time, however. I feel as if I'm smoking a chemical straight-up. I get pretty buzzed, nonetheless, but I'd like to be able to just have a constant supply of green. Peace.

I smoke resin all the time whenever I'm out of weed, so I don't mind at all. I don't have a problem with the smell or the taste, gets me high for long ass time. I can hold my breath for like almost 2 mins. and I can't even get high holding my breath, gotta be the resin.

I agree, but I think it's mostly kids who do that stuff. The first one or two hits are the only one's I like. Sometimes, I'll throw the rest away, and fill it with fresh> This is kinda costly, but I'm sure most of the thc is within those first few hits anyway. The longer you wait , the more tar builds up. I would like to know the percentage of thc that is emmited those first few hits, especially in a vaporizer. With a vaporizer, the first few hits have that strong taste . Do you think after that you are really only getting a small amount of thc?

Do you mean like the shit people try to 'clean' out of the screen by smoking?

The high I get from smoking resin is NOT just a "I was holding my breath too much" buzz. If that were the case I would feel fine in just a few minutes, wouldnt get cottonmouth, wouldnt get the munchies, etc. I realize it is worse for you, but ya know what? I'm poor and scraping my peices will get me more high for the money I spend. Also, if there is no TCH left in the resin how can cops test your pieces for THC in a paraphanilia bust? You may not want to smoke resin, that's cool, I also think it's rude to bring just resin if youre going 50/50 on a bowl, but you're wrong about it not getting you high.

resin is bad for you, but you are definetly wrong about the no thc in it. I smoke resin and it gets me high, no doubt out of my mind. I can tell when im high and when i have oxygen depravation. If i spelt that right.

thers is definatly thc in resin. and you definatly get high from smoking it. i'm not going to claim i know excactly what i'm talking about... but.... there are more chemicals in cannabis that have psycoactive effects than just thc.

thc does get degraded from heat.... but if that were the case wouldn't u not get high from smoking bud?? when u put the lighter to it, in theory, the thc would be fucked... right?? i'm not so sure.....

i have a bowl for only heady smoking.... when i boil that and smoke the resin... i get nice a fuckin stoned. its not as long and usually head high dominated... but it DEFINATLY gets u stoned.

so your saying if i were to say... smoke a cig and hold my breath every time i take a drag and hold it in i would get high?? i'm not so sure....

but no doubt it smells and tastes like shit. but like lokix said.... if i'm broke and i have a dirty bowl theres no way i'm not smoking it. i used to be a heroin addict and that shit didn't taste all to gravy.... but it definatly did the job.

If that was true, then smoking weed wouldn't work. I don't smoke the resin, and don't promote it, but I think the OP's premise is wrong.

definately gonna have to disagree with you there, i smoke resin from time to time when im desperate and it definately gets me high, no doubt about it. Like someone above said I can tell being high from oxygen deprevation
