Honey Slides

Anyone ever try making honey slides? I have heard they fuck you up royally, but have never talked to a first hand source.

Generally, it's not a good idea to mix smoking and honey. What's a honey slide?

I've never once heard smokin honey is a bad thing. Course that doesnt mean it isn't bad. but i would guess a honey slide would be similar to usin honey with a joint

You know, poor grade marijuana (he's playing soft guitar all through this... Motion Pictures intro), worse than you get on the street, and you take it and you get your old lady, you know, if you got one, to cook it up on the stove, you know, put that stuff in the grinder, get it real fine, in a frying pan, put it on the stove, turn the heat up a little, wait till the grass just starts to smoke, just a little bit, take it off the heat, don't want to burn it too much (laughter and a few guitar bars), then you take the honey, you know, get a half a glass of honey about this big - I hope you ladies are listening to the recipies tonight - (audience laughter and a few words missing) just heat that honey up until it's slippery, you know, and mix that grass with it, you know the fine grass that you've cooked up just until it started to smoke and you took it off, mix those together and you get a spoon you know (voices from the audience and laughter).

Hmmm, I'll definitely have to try this, its new to me. I imagine its just like cannabutter, but can the THC really dissolve into the honey? lol well I guess I'll take old Niel's word on this and give it a try.

Honey is composed primarily of sugars and water. The average honey is 79.6% sugar and 17.2% water. The primary sugars are fructose (38.2%) and glicose (31.3%). Everyone seems to say they work ridiculously well.

Oh Im definatly gonna try this. My dad has a bee farm so I get all the free fresh honey I want.

Well, the trick is to not filter the buds, just eat it with the honey, so it doesn't matter too much IMO.

that is kinda funny how someone one day was just like "mmmmmm im gonna cook this nug in some honey then eat the thing" then he finds out he gets so baked off it.

yes, this is an old thread but it deserves reviving. i have done honey slides and they really do fuck you up. for like 7 hours.

so this is what you do:

1. grind up some bud nice and finely, enough to make a rounded teaspoon. (~.5g?)
2. heat up a frying pan on medium-low
3. put a good thwack of butter in the pan (tablespoon?)
4. melt it so its kinda bubbling
5. put that weed in and keep stirring it until the weed is golden brown and slightly smoking. dont let it burn too much or you will fuck it up.
6. pour the contents of the pan into about 3-5 tablespoons of warm honey.
7. stir vigourously so the honey turns brown and murky
8. EAT IT. it may taste kinda shitty but its worth it.

you should get absolutely ripped in 1-2 hours, and it should last for 5-8 hours.

i've only done it once, but it was enough to know it works
