pollen press how do u seperate it?
I pressed some pollen and it was really hard but when i took it off the press it broke in the middle didnt leave me with a nice hard cake just crumbs...did i not use enough? does anyone have any tips or tricks on getting it to not stick to the pins? thanks!

I have a cheap press off ebay and it makes hard cakes instantly. they are really hard to break apart

to get it to not stick I put a little pam on the parts that come in contact with the kief

Dont you think pam wouldnt be good to smoke? Since it does coem in contact with the keify goodness.

If you are really in a hurry, I've left mine for 3 hours and it still worked just fine, but I prefer at least a day for my presses. So leave it a bit longer and that should prevent breakage. It helps to keep a knife/razor around to get whatever sticks to the press and to cut the hash off.

put pieces of baggie, or cellaphane on ends of pins that touch keif

WHen I make kiefcakes/hash with weed I use a cheap pollen press from ebay. It works best when I put it in a plastic bag when its all tightened with the kiefcake inside and run it under very hot water for about 60-90 seconds. Then I take it out and it usually is really nice. I work it around with my hands, a flat knife, and lighter if it needs more shaping and then voila... I've got some hash. It's really fun to smoke and the littlest piece can get you baked.

Anyways if you try it my way the whole process only takes about 10 minutes. Good luck!
