i enjoy the act of smoking, but i know what you're saying.
none of my friends understand how i can conserve my weed for so long. the trick is to just smoke a pinchy, wait ten minutes and then repeat if necessary... but if im with my friends then im for sure rollin up a fatty. its just how i roll, son... |

BUT. there are the times when one smokes alot really fast, and then it all hits you at the same time and you go from sober to straight up fried in a matter of seconds, my favorite.

I do this already, just without thinking about it. I take my time when I smoke, I can never finish off a bowl by myself in one sitting. I fill my bowl to the top and it usually lasts me two personal sessions. I can literally buy a 10 sack and make it last all week if I smoke every other day.

I'm also able to get pretty baked with a little amount of bud, when alone at home i smoke bowls spanning them out and relax. The effect of THC on the body can be very mental, if your not anxious or in a hurry to smoke as much as you can you will not be as high as if it were more your choice. But 'to each his own' and people get what they pay for.

yeah and 3 months ago i was smokin 100 dollar quaters a day of haze, although recently I cut it back to 3-4 grams a day.
Everyone got their own amounts. I wish i could be satisfied all day and only smoke 2/10th of a gram, damn i would save mad weed cant roll no blunt with 2/10th of a gram tho so im out.

To the OP... while your advice is good in theory and in practice, it's ironically not very practical. You need to consider all edges of your analogy.
But I'll do it for you. Yes, it's not a lot of fun to have a stomach ache and feel horrible after crushing a lot of food. But on Thanksgiving, are you like "eh, I think I'll just have one slice of turkey and some potatoes and then I'm off to jog"? No. Would you do the same on Christmas dinner? No. Would you do the same at a family reunion? No. Would you do the same on any night out at a restaurant with your friends? No. Sometimes packing a fat, overflowing bowl is just the right thing to do. You haven't seen your boy in a while, so you roll a fat 3 gram blunt. And you both get completely ripped. Yeah, you could have made those 3 grams last a week if you wanted to, but it's the event. It wouldn't be right for your boy to come in from out of town and you just be like "Oh dude by the way I'm a stingy bastard so we're just gonna each take one rip and watch Bill O'Reily and see if we're high". I'd be like uhhh well let me pack that shit to the face. But I'm all for conservation, the 1/8 of blueberry I bought on Friday is about 1.5 today (sunday). Not bad for me. And it's not my place, and I'm not starting shit, but your tone was rather pretentious. We're all smokers too, no need to sound like you're telling us something we don't know. Stop the presses, you can get high off a bong hit. |
