Need help! Bowl just snapped clean in half

shit guys, I was just smoking after school and I though my neighbor saw me and I was freaking out. I dropped my bowl on concrete when i was tapping it out. The question is can I glue it back because it is a clean cut, it wouldnt take too much glue. And then if I cant glue it, would I be able to melt it back together? I could put both pieces in a vice (wrapped in a towl) then heat up each end then with leather gloves and shit on i could stick emm back together and maybe score the end parts first to get a good mash?
PLEASE HELP ME I LOVED THAT BOWL!

im really more interested in 'welding' the pieces back to gether with a small blow torch. The kind that you screw onto a propane bottle. I think i would be able to do that, any comments or points in the right direction?

are you serious?

you can't weld it back together, either glue it or buy a new bowl.

I've heard propane torches melt glass too quickly, and the glass just distorts itself without you being able to do anything.

Just put a minimal amount of hot glue on it, try to get most of it on the outside of the bowl, so there is only glass on the inside of it.

You cant weld glass. If anything buy a new bowl or if you like it THAT much, try hot glue or epoxy.

why would you do that to yourself? hot glue melts under heat and you have no idea what chemicals you're inhaling.

listen bro i would strongly advise against using any type of sealant in a bowl as i said before.

Buy a new bowl, it's not worth inhaling toxic vapors from the glue and epoxy.

Yeah, man....the chemicals could do some damage, I would think. If the bowl means THAT much, keep it in a box and give it a bowl or two in it's rememberance on your new piece. It's worth the 20 bucks.

I dont think you guys are understading me. I DO NOT WANT TO USE GLUES/APOXY. I just want to find out if there is any way to melt the glass and put it back together.

THERE IS NO WAY!

trust me man, you CAN NOT do it.

just to work on a piece it needs to be heated in a kiln, i believe, there's a small chance i'm wrong but i'm pretty sure.

you basically have two options....

either buy a new piece

or use glue and take the risk of inhaling vapors.

on a side note, i've used electrical tape on bowls and it's worked. and there's no worry of inhaling fumes since it's all on the outside.
