How Do You Make Your Roachs? & My New Way

By roach I mean the filter on a blunt/joint!

I've been making them a cylinder shape with nothing in the middle, although the hole is fairly wide, it still doesn't let the weed shoot through for some strange reason and the drags are completely unrestricted. I know a lot of people make them so there's an "M/Z/N" in the middle but in my experiences it just takes longer and can go wrong.

How about my fellow seasoned tokers?

I personally do the M/W method, I've never had it fail, though. I just fold it a few times, then roll it on down to a little cylinder. Easy.

Yeah I would rather smoke a joint with a roach than one without.. I hate getting resin on my lips and when the joint is almost gone you have a huge chance of burning your lips .

Never smoked a blunt with one, though. I usually don't smoke those down all the way any ways though, just put it in my pipe.

I just get a pack of sticky-notes, and cut them at around the size of the crutch/roach I want, then I get plenty of roaches for cheap. They work good too.

make a W then wrap around the outside of said W.

If you make them in just a cylinder shape it can become loose and weed may fall. M shape is the best, works every time.

i fold it a couple times then before i go to roll it into the cylinder shape i kind of squeeze the w or m together, it makes this omega looking symbol, i just find it easier to roll a nicer tip when the lines on the inside arent so crisp, gotta roll em down a bit

I usually can't be bothered to make a filter/roach. I just smoke the joint and when it gets too small to hold with my fingers i put it on a pin and hold the pin while I smoke it, it works pretty good.

I usually stick to making a nice mouth piece during the twist with the bud, as that leaves more bud in the roach for the bong post-smoke. But if I fuck that up or something, I'll throw a filter in and I usually just do 2 full rolls and leave the middle empty ..just as you said, no weed gets through (assuming its rolled at least partially tight) and the drags are smooooth.

if ive no roaches i'll use the cardboard from the rizla packet and roll it in a cylinder, and make one end of it become more narrow than the other. stops bits of weed coming into the mouth without needing an M. can't really be done with a4 thick paper though because it would be weaker. rizla box is fine.

when im using bought roaches they have the M shape ready to be folded with little lines along the bits to fold

i have always just made a circle within a circle, pretty much same concept as op with slightly smaller circle within to prevent doobie snacks.

I just cut/rip off a rectangular piece of a business card and than roll that between my fingers until it is the perfect roach shape, i don't do the w but my roaches end up just right, so no bud gets through them and there is good airflow.
