Bongs filtering power

I wandering what parts of the smoke stay in the water after smoked through a bong?

Well, if you haven't figured it out yet, everything you didn't inhale.

I don't think any parts stay in the water. The water is there to cool down the toke so it isn't as harsh on your throat/lungs.

It helps filter some carcinogens but not enough if you are concerned with the damage burnt dried plant matter WILL do to your lungs. Most people don't worry about the damage because it is miniscul compared to tobacco and other things.

I rip bongs becouse it is the most efficient way and most fun way to get high.

Nothing beats the first bong rip of the day out of a nice CLEAN glass bong, especially if you can slide a couple ice cubes down the tube.

it catches some soot and some tar but doesnt take away from the potency

It will filter out anything that is water soluble along with any debris that happens to get sucked into it. I don't believe anyone has taken the time to break this down and see what is, and isn't filtered though.

You know all that brown shit you see when you smoke from from a pipe for a while? It filters some of that out if u have a reguler bong no difusser no percolators then it will filter some of it in the water it will also get on the glass so uou can b glad all that not goin in your lungs, but not all. Unless the bong has a nice set of percolaotors with diffuser downstem, or ashcatcher thats the healthiest way of smoking other than a vaporizer.
