the climate does seem to be changing,the weather seems different than when i was a kid

is there enough evidence to prove man is doin this?is the science solid? is it getting warmer?

in the 1970s all the scientists said there was catastrophic COOLING going on...what happened to that

if algore cares so much,why doesnt he sell his mansion and his shares in OCCIDENTAL PETROLEUM?

what they want to do is use this as an excuse to strip the us of its remaining manufacturing capacity and make it just another card in their deck of the NEW WORLD ORDER

the global warming issue is a FALSE FRONT foisted on well meaning gullible people as a MEANS OF CONTROL..make no mistake,this guy cares nothing about the earth,he is a total fraud,his movie is straight nwo propaganda

ask him about why no country in the world had signed kyoto protocol

ask him about what he plans to do about chinas' rampant pollution and 3200 coal fired power plants?

ask him why when mt. pinatubo in the phils erupted in the 80s it let out more pollution than all of the pollution produced by mankind in its entire history? can he stop volcanoes?

they feel guilty about the wealth of the usa and the energy we use to produce goods so their solution is to have us all living in a mud hut while he retains his mansions,fleet of suv's oil stocks,private jets and so on...

hey,if burning oil for cars sucks?shouldnt we all buy the biggest v8 engined cars possible,that would use up the oil quicker and force development of new power....if we all drive geo metros that sip gas,isint that just prolonging the inevitable..?

from what I know, countries have signed it, just that they haven't been able to acheive it's goals. people complain that the goals were unrealistic, but it's more likely cause of beaurocracy and greed. humans - you gotta love us

well that doesn't make sense if oil is a problem why not just slowly stop burning it. there's loads of alternatives, including nuclear energy, but shitloads of money are being spent on oil research, and while father sky is choking on all the uncombusted hydrocarbons pouring into his living room, some bastard somewhere is getting richer than any human being should be with the levels of poverty we have in the world today.

Ah, but oil isn't just handy as a fuel. Think lubricants, various plastics and being an integral part in a lot of chemical processes and products. Better put oil to some good productive use than just flame it off in some engines.

nuclear energy is great,not portable enough for cars yet tho...wouldnt that be cool,you wouldnt need headlights,the whole damn car would be glowing...

the last nuke plant went online in the usa in 1979...extreme epa regulations and people n.i.m.b.y.(not in my backyard) prevent any new ones being built,the cost of enviro compliance makes it impossible to build new ones....france makes some 70 percent of its power from nukes,japan the same...we keep on burnin coal...

as for slowly stopping burning oil...good freakin luck...lets burn it up now,and scrap the ethanol argument as well...the reason so much corn can be grown to make ethanol is...guess what?!?! petroleum based fertilizers!....we are growing corn to make fuel additives to save on oil use,but we are using oil based fertilizers to do it! hahaha

i know! lets have the GOVERNMENT solve the problem by making MORE LAWS!!! that always works!,and everyone knows the GOVERNMENT is always the greatest way to get things done,like in the prosperous dynamic economic powerhouse called the SOVIET UNION, a world leader in economic growth

i dont begrudge the oil companies their profits(even tho i just paid 3 freakin 19 a gallon today!)...i like my car and dont happen to have the extra money around to find drill and refine my own oil,so yes they deserve their profits...maybe not the ass raping profits they are getting now....but when you start telling companies how much they can make,because too much is wrong,(who decides too much?) you get that evil stifiling hand of government again,which kills all incentive....

I have to agree about Al Gore. I never liked listening to him speak before the documentary! I feel like the hypocrisy involved is the biggest problem with all of the save the planet issues. So it boils down to just doing the best that each and every one of us can do from day to day in order so that others may fall in line and maybe copy some of the good taking place around them.
