I heard about this "disclosure" about a month ago. One source even went so far as to say it would be around the end of November (wouldn't that be nice). There were a few reputable people staking their careers by making these claims. People that already have a space in the spotlight and aren't likely looking for publicity, as they already have it. Who knows though, people have staked their careers on such claims before, only to ruin themselves.

imo it would be nice for the government to come out and admit it, but I'm not gonna old my breath. They have their own agenda so anything they say probably wouldn't be completely trustworthy anyway.

Actually, people like Hoagland is far from reputable and he has made exaggerated claims (Faces on Mars fo rexample) for years and has been proven wrong on a number of occassions and caught out being less than truthful. There are tens of people in the UFO field who will say anything to create a story and get attention, whether they're already well known or not. Throw poo at the wall and some always sticks and book sales, and listening figures, go up with every new yarn they spin. The list of names of people who have done this is endless. Bill Cooper, John Mack, Bud Hopkins, tens of them..I am a believer in UFO's but not Hoagland and pals.

Not necessarily talking about Hoagland, I agree he is mostly full of it but, there were a few different people talking about it on several different occasions in the past few months. A talk show here and there, and an interview or two. Didn't pay too much attention to them as it's all stuff I've heard before. Like I said, I'm not gonna hold my breath.

The gov. aint gonna say shit. They want us to think there are aliens because there not saying anything about it. The government started the whole story about Roswell being an alien crash to cover up the fact they were testing new technologys, it was during the cold war afterall. They don't have aliens or alien technology, if they did they would have already crushed all hopes of free thought and enslaved the earth.

And has inter-species communication ever happened? How are we going to communicate with a species from another planet effectively when most humans can barely control dogs which are pretty much idiots.

this assumes that we are the smarter of the two species, typically. In that scenario, our ability to relay information in an understandable manner to another species does seem limited.

but, if the second species were of a higher cognitive order than we are, its entirely possible that they may be able to, in effect, communicate with us. Seems disrespectful to view them as masters of science and technology, but with low brain power and no "social" knowledge or proficiencies.

And i think to myself why all of the sudden are there so many channels actually entertaining the idea of extraterrestrial life maybe to get the population ready for something ? or I'm just crazy

That movie was so fucked up! I walked out of it and told my friend they should just rename it "Oppression the movie." They killed all of those little baby alien eggs, and they shot all of those adult aliens! All they wanted was some cat food... jeez.

I guess it didn't help that I was tripping when I saw it...

that movie had a sweet ending you should have stayed. It was an atypical alien movie where the people were the bad guys.
