We know so little in the general scheme of things, so for aliens to exist would be pretty plausible. There's evidence of previously living organisms on planets etc and thats just on the shit that's close to Earth. No doubt in the infinite of space expansion that there would be beings of all different intellects.

In some aspects, intellect may not even exist in their surroundings. They could be formulated by other means, beings incomprehensible to our human minds.

So yes, I believe there's other beings out there for sure. Bigger, smarter, sexier beings that smoke cement to get high while watching 8 legged, 20 foot whales colonize nearby stars.

This shit happens. Id know.

lol nice picture you painted there. definately plausible. considering theres over 10 dimensions and we only operate on the third. and can draw the 2nd dimension and erase it. with a formation of 1st dimensional lines.

yeah there has got to be other species out there man, infinite possibilities man. In fact maybe some are just chillin around but we just cant see them with our human eyes, you never know.

Not only do I believe in ET's... I believe they've visited us on more than a few occasions...

I think all the hype about ET's lately is those who are 'in the know' trying to gradually get the general population used to the idea (thus the big ET craze as of late), so when they release the big news - no one is really that surprised.

In a Universe as huge as this one, I would be extremely surprised if Earth was the only place where sentient life evolved.

Of course, that's a different question from: can we ever see each other? There are parts of the Universe so far away that we'll never be able to see them (literally, the space between here and there is expanding faster than light can travel), and from everything I've read about the factors that impact the development of multicellular life, it's not beyond the realm of possibility that they're that far away.

And even if they weren't, assuming for the sake of argument that we're not so far away that communication will be effectively impossible, who's to say that we and they exist at the same time? Maybe a galactic civilization grew, flourished, and died while humanity was still coexisting with Neandertals. Maybe E.T. is only just now becoming sentient, and the development of whatever it takes for them to start building civilization is still a hundred thousand years off, and we'll be dead and long-gone by then.

Or maybe ET have their own form of cannabis which allows them to see past the bullshit and realize they don't need interstellar civilization, and they can just kick it on Arcturus or wherever, farming for subsistence and giggling their stoned little alien asses off at their wacky antics in their free time.

I don't believe there has been contact here on Earth.
