I find it hard to believe that the human race can go on for another 150 with all of the destruction we cause, the world will be a waste land, empty of any type of inteligent life.
Unfortunatly i dont have a lot of faith in the human race as a team everybody working together and all, we need to start now, after all- what we do today determinds what we do tomorrow.

Billions will die. Disease, famine and control will rape the earth of its produce.
However, it will resume itself after awhile. New nations will be formed, pre-existing ones will pursue higher interests. Nations will form alliances and wage war against all that is.

The Earth is going through a warming faze. It will flood, the thermohaline system will shut down, people will die once more. Death will become a part of everyday life. Value for life will be lost. No longer will cemetaries harbor ceremonial stones of appreciation to lives lost. Graves will expand along with human destruction.

Corrupt leaders will rise and puppeteer their nations. Control them and infiltrate their minds with propaganda, as a scape-goat to the vast problems already faced.

Your average man will be taught to be a soldier, to capture, rape and pillage.

Earth would cease to exist due to war, disease, curiosity, ignorance. a very low population (probably a couple hundred thousand) would live in a space station around the earth's orbit.

Transatlantic subways will allow someone to live in NY and work on the other side of the world. There will be contact computers you will be able to record straight from what you see, there will most likely be some ear implant for all things audio, wifi will be everywhere.

And there will be even fatter people.

How do you deal with the midatlantic ridge? How do you propose a tunnel through that unstable area? And besides, it would be much slower than a jet. It would take all day just to travel. What if it breaks down...1,200 miles from "land"?

I like the "bio computer" thing though. I believe that is coming. Along with the rest of what you said.

I can't image the human race getting any fatter. I'm sure scientists will come up with something like nano machines that work to keep our weight in check. I also expect web sites that allow you to customize your unborn child to appear soon.

-alternative fuel source for cars/vehicles. probably safe nuclear energy of some sort
-autopilot for driving.. perhaps satellite controlled
-begin colonization of Mars
-alien contact(hopefully)
-a lot of good morals down the drain
-an equation explaining everything
-robots replace many human labor/not always humanoids
-religious revolutions
-collapse of terrorism in middle east/north korea
-some sort of ridiculous natural disaster that may reshape parts of the world
-end of world hunger
-survival of the smartest
-guns/gunpowder gets replaced
