Not everyone in the world is taking anti-depressants, and even depressed people fight to stay alive.

could that potentially mean(and i didnt really read it ) that at one time could we have been as developed as we where now or even more?

for example, we could have been living in another soceity like the one we live in now with most of the same things we have or diffrent, then like we are doing now we fuck it up the earth kills us and starts everything over? like with a ice age or sumthing?

It's quite possible we were very advanced before the near extinction. I watched a program on The History Channel I think, and it's pretty amazing how fast mother nature destroys all evidence of civilization.

What if some humans' DNA back then contained traits that humans today don't, because these traits were wiped out in the bottleneck/near extinction/whatever you want to call it? What if they are traits like super intelligence, super strength, extreme longevity, etc that could have completely changed our species? What if stories of people with these special abilities got passed down through oral tradition and formed the basis of some of the most ancient religions? The Greek gods/goddesses are the most obvious that come to mind.

alright man

the 2012 doomsday theory isnt bullshit because its not a doomsday theory

if you read about the mayan catuns and predictions youd realize that they never say anything about doomsday they leave that up to the interperter

all they predicted was the excat date of some extremely rare planet allignment without any telscopes and they said that starting on that date the calender ends and it is predicted they believe that natural disasters will wipe out a large portion of human population but not necesarily all of them

also you gotta read more about their predictions that have already come true and really this is the most important thing:

GLOBAL WARMING WHETHER REAL OR NOT (90-99% likely its the real deal I think) doesnt really matter

we still NEED to stop using gas and polluting the enviornment because without a doubt the o-zone is being destroyed, animals and plants are dying extremely rapidly. and also overpopulation and social issues are just too extreme right now. We need to bascially rethink not only how we impact the world environmentally but socially

the balance of wealth in the world is disgusting

the rich have tons of it which they waste of material items like here in america and the poor literally die from starvation by the millions

They say it's the thought that counts. Or is that just the minutes ticking by?

Whoever takes part in writing for that site must be an extremely low self-esteemed person.

Half of the stuff on that sight is retarded. Zombies? All humans committing suicide?

The world isn't ending in 2012 either....
