I watched this story the other week and was impressed with the possibility of a cure for cancer coming from a man that had no formal training in any scientific disciplines.

Cancer will never be "cured" because Mother Nature developed it. It's one of the most active population controls in the world

Your logic is terrible.

According to you, all diseases are incurable. That, my friend is false.

precisely. thus leaving possibilities for cures for diseases like cancer and AIDS. although i assure you there has been a cure for cancer for quite a while. theres no way an average joe shmoe stumbled upon a cure for cancer before people with power and money for funding research. just because shits not on the market doesnt mean its not there. what happened to magic johnson? he had money. lol at southpark episode

if we had full body cancer screenings at least once a year with our physicals, cancer would be cured. insurance companies arent gonna cover that of course.

I've read about this before

the problem with it is they have to develop an antibody they can attach the metal to that will specifically target cancer cells....which is an extremely difficult goal...on top of that, you have to target single rogue cells, which could be near impossible to locate even with a screening

the idea behind this is great but there are still walls to be broken down

I hate to be a pessimist but I feel that this is just another "miracle cure" that will be swept under the rug in years to come
