yes i know life started in the ocean (thanks discovery channel) but idk about how the water got here (i know it is probable that a mars size planet in between earth and mars hit earth early one getting read of alot of the water, allowing for land life, and possible made our enormous moon with some spiraling of material of earth). and lastly i thought titan (the one w/ frozen water) was a jupitar moon but i could be mistaken

This is the basis of all scientific thought. We cannot be completely certain of any truths, everything is a possibility. When we say there must be other life in the universe, all we are saying is that the possibility of life evolving in another place is so great, that it is almost a certainty. Theres still that .001% (I just pulled this number out of my ass by the way) chance that we are all alone.'
