yes i know life started in the ocean (thanks discovery channel) but idk about how the water got here (i know it is probable that a mars size planet in between earth and mars hit earth early one getting read of alot of the water, allowing for land life, and possible made our enormous moon with some spiraling of material of earth). and lastly i thought titan (the one w/ frozen water) was a jupitar moon but i could be mistaken
This is the basis of all scientific thought. We cannot be completely certain of any truths, everything is a possibility. When we say there must be other life in the universe, all we are saying is that the possibility of life evolving in another place is so great, that it is almost a certainty. Theres still that .001% (I just pulled this number out of my ass by the way) chance that we are all alone.'

we (as humans) know nothing. except for what we control (what we say, think and do, this can be debated tho)

say u know anything (besides things u or other said, thought or did) and if u look at it in depth enough youll realize u truly dont know it at all

anything we think we know is only our interpretation of it, we will never know if our interpretation is indeed fact

I'm sure that life could develop in much hotter and much colder places that the earth. When we take into consideration the fact that there are living organisms that live next to lava vents and various mammals that can survive -50F weather it seems absurd that there can't be life on other planets.

Our own galaxy contains planets that have been observed outside of our solar system. Also, what about all the reports of alien contact, surely if aliens have visited is they came from a different solar system.
